Chicken Wontons in Spicy Chili Sauce

  • chili crisp
    1-2 tbsp
  • frozen wontons
    12 oz
  • garlic
    1 clove
  • green onions
  • sesame oil
    3 tbsp
  • sesame seeds
  • shiitake mushrooms
    8 oz
  • teriyaki sauce

    Heat 1 tablespoon sesame oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add shiitake mushrooms (sliced); saute until softened. Add garlic (grated) for the last minute or two of sauteing.

    Add frozen wontons (mini chicken cilantro), chicken broth , and teriyaki sauce . Simmer for ⏱️ 5 minutes , with a lid on, until the wontons are heated through.

    Finish with remaining 2 tablespoons sesame oil, chili crisp , and top with sesame seeds and green onions (sliced).
