Pickled Onions

  • garlic cloves

  • mixed peppercorns

  • red onions
    2 small
  • sea salt

  • water

  • white vinegar

    Thinly slice red onions and divide between two jars . Place garlic cloves (optional) and mixed peppercorns (optional) in jars.

    Heat white vinegar , water , cane sugar , and sea salt in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir until salt and sugar dissolve, about ⏱️ 1 minute . Let cool and pour over onions.
