Meat Sauce

Noodles

1Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook lasagna noodles in boiling water for ⏱️ 8-10 minutes . Drain noodles, and rinse with cold water.lasagna noodles: 12
Cheese Mixture

1In a mixing bowl , combine ricotta cheese with egg (beaten), parsley , and salt .ricotta cheese: 1 lb, egg: 1 large, parsley: 2 tbsp, salt: 1/2 tsp
Assembly

1Preheat oven to 375 F.

2Spread 1 1/2 cups of meat sauce in the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish .

3Arrange 6 noodles lengthwise over meat sauce, overlapping slightly.

4Spread half of the ricotta cheese mixture over the noodles.

5Top with 1/3 of the mozzarella cheese (sliced).mozzarella cheese: 12 oz

6Spoon 1 1/2 cups meat sauce over mozzarella, and sprinkle with 1/4 cup parmesan cheese (grated).parmesan cheese: 3/4 c

7Repeat layers, and top with remaining mozzarella and parmesan cheese.

8Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil (spray bottom with cooking spray) and bake for ⏱️ 25 minutes .

9Remove foil and bake for an additional ⏱️ 25 minutes .

10Let stand for ⏱️ 10-15 minutes before cutting and serving.
