  • dry white wine
    1/3 c
  • fresh thyme
    2 tsp
  • heavy cream
    1/2 c
  • leeks
    4
  • pepper
  • pie dough

  • water

    Melt butter in a large skillet . Add leeks (chopped, about 3.5 cups), fresh thyme (chopped), water , salt , and pepper . Cook until tender, about ⏱️ 12-14 minutes .

    Add dry white wine and cook until thickened, about ⏱️ 2-3 minutes .

    Add heavy cream and cook until the leeks are coated, about ⏱️ 1-2 minutes .

    Roll out pie dough , add Gruyere cheese (about 1 cup, shredded), then add leek mixture.
